he Studied at the Imperial Academy of arts (1882-1893) first as a volunteer, from 1887 — permanent student. In 1893 получил the title of class artist.

he Lived in Rome (from 1896). Author of portraits, landscapes and works on historical, genre scenes, allegorical compositions: "Forestieri in pompeya", "Saint Catherine", "Saint Veronica before Tiberius", "Girl with flower", "Cathedral of St. Nicholas in Bari", "Initiation of the virgin," "Prayer of St. Catherine", "catacombs" and other.

From 1894 — participated in exhibitions. Exhibited St.-Петербургского society of artists (1898, 1900, 1902); the all-Russia industrial and agricultural exhibition in Nizhny Novgorod (1896).

Work is represented in many regional Museum collections, among them — Nizhny Novgorod art Museum.
