a Great-niece of the composer М. И. Глинки. He graduated from the Mariinsky women's gymnasium (1903). Initial art education has received in the workshop М. А. Келлер in Smolensk (1902-1903). He studied at the Drawing school society for the encouragement of arts in St. Petersburg (1903-1905); simultaneously attended school-студию Л. Е. Дмитриева-Кавказского. In 1906 переехала in Moscow. In 1910-40-х worked on a series of paintings and graphic works devoted to memorable places of Smolensk region associated with the life of the composer.

Worked as a book Illustrator in various publishing houses of Moscow; has created illustrations for children's books "the seasons" (1924), "Beasts" (1927), "the Children" (1929) and others. In 1930-х repeatedly went to the creative business; visited the Crimea, Kyrgyzstan (1936). Regularly worked Shmakovo and in Novospasskoye, Smolensk region.
