he Studied at the Higher state art and-промышленных workshops in Perm (1921) П. И. Субботина and Н. М. Гущина then in Vhuteine in Moscow (1926-1930) in the Department of easel painting in the Studio А. В. Шевченко. Completed a series of graphic portraits of the teachers of the Institute "Educators" (1920-е).

he Lived in Moscow. Regularly traveled for work to the Urals. Worked in the genre of industrial landscape; painted portraits, genre pictures, still lifes. In 1931 he was sent for creative work on Magnitstroy; performed the same series of works.

From 1920 — participant of exhibitions (exhibition of paintings at the Institute of education in Perm). Member of akhr (1930-1932), MSH (1932). Exhibited: works by artists dispatched to regions of industrial building and collective farms (1932), young artists of Moscow (1934), summer work of Moscow artists (1936) in Moscow. His personal exhibitions were held in Magnitogorsk (1936), Moscow (1936 — with М. И. Долговым, И. И. Урядовым, Е. М. Иваненко; 1963).

a Memorial exhibition was held in Tchaikovsky of Perm region (1978) and Moscow (1981).

Work is represented in many Museum collections, including the State Tretyakov gallery, the Pushkin Museum im. А. С. Пушкина Perm state art gallery and others.
