Painter, graphic artist

he Studied at the Higher art school of painting, sculpture and architecture under the Imperial Academy of arts (1893-1897), in the Studio В. Е. Маковского. In 1893 and 1894 he was awarded the small incentive medals. In 1895 he received the title of class artist of 3-й extent, in 1897, for the painting "Viy" was awarded the title of artist.

Lived in St. Petersburg (?), after 1917 — in the Nikolaevsk (Alaska), after 1920 — in Blagoveshchensk. Author landscapes, genre paintings and sketches mainly on stories from the Ukrainian life. Drew for the magazine "Niva". Together with other artists participated in the painting of the ascension Cathedral in Novocherkassk.

1901 — participated in exhibitions. Exhibited at the exhibition of the society of Russian watercolorists (Blanc et noir, 1901) in St.-Петербурге.

he Worked as a drawing teacher in a school for gifted children in Nikolaevsk. One of the founders and first teachers of art-промышленного school in Blagoveshchensk.
