TURKISH Boris Z.

Draw Turkish began very early, worked in a children's club studio, working on their own. In 1944, after the family returned from evacuation in Voronezh became acquainted with the artist AP Vasilyev, have rendered an invaluable influence on youth. In 1946 he enrolled in the Penza Art College named. K. Savitsky. In 1947 he moved to Moscow and transferred to the Moscow Art School in memory 1905 at a theater faculty (teachers - M. Perutsky, M. Khazanov). In 1953-1959 he studied at the Moscow Polygraphic Institute in absentia.

In 1959 in Moscow, the apartment of the composer A. Volkonskogo, held a personal exhibition of the artist. In Soviet times, the innovative work of Boris Turetsky exhibited only in informal, apartment exhibitions. Rare exception - the Turkish part of the "head" in a group exhibition of Moscow artists in the pavilion "Culture House" in VDNH in 1975.

In mid-1970 Turkish because of illness had left an artistic activity, and returned to it only in 1984.

And only in the early 1990's the artist's works were exhibited at the most active major exhibitions devoted to the non-art:
