The exhibition of Raphael Santi will open in the Pushkin state Museum in September
In September 2016 in the Pushkin Museum to them. A. S. Pushkin opens an exhibition dedicated to one of the greatest geniuses in the history of world art — to Raphael, painter, draughtsman, architect of the Renaissance. The work of this master, during the life called "divine", was equal to many generations of subsequent artists of the time, including Russian.
This is the first large-scale exhibition of works by Raphael in Russia. Just a few of his works were shown at the Pushkin Museum to them. A. S. Pushkin in the framework of various exhibitions or on "exhibition of one painting" ("Donna Velate", "the lady with the unicorn").
In the future the exhibition visitors will see paintings and drawings from the museums of Italy, mainly from the collections of the Florentine museums — the Uffizi Gallery and Palatine gallery (Palazzo Pitti).
Preparing the exposition at their level and scale can be compared with the exhibitions "Caravaggio" and "Titian", which with great success at the Museum in 2011-2013. There is no doubt that the exhibition of the works of Raphael Santi will be a great success among visitors.
