VIII festival of contemporary art collections

NCCA opened the VIII festival of contemporary art collections. The festival is recognized as one of the most exciting summer events for Moscow's cultural life, has been held annually since 2007 and is the private, corporate and public collection of contemporary art in the 2nd half of XX — beginning of XXI century. Festival collections of contemporary art is not only a unique opportunity to access the works from private collections and the museums, but also to see that collecting is a creative process, which is determined by the identity of the collector, in his quest to clear art dvijeniya@
Central event of this festival is the first Russian exhibition of Swiss contemporary art from the collection of the Museum of modern art Migros@
this year the Festival will present the work Reiki Kurokawa, WIM Wenders, Igor Shelkovsky, Damien Hirst and many others from the collection curator Ivan Isayev; unique videos of the early 1990s from the collection of TV-gallery; a retrospective of works by Eugene Chubarova from the collection of the NCCA; a retrospective of works by Valentin Vorobyov from the collection of Michael alshiba, as well as works by non-conformist artists from the collection of Michael alshiba at the Museum center RGGU@
