exposition second (after 1997) solo exhibition by Russian artist Peter Dick (1939-2002) in the Russian Museum is about 100 works, executed in pastels. The artist used for his compositions unusual paper - he drew on sheets of grit, which helped achieve a particular feeling emotional depth of images, often fall in between the real and the non-objective. In the work of Dick, an ethnic German born in Russia and for many years lived and worked in the city of Vladimir, in perfect harmony marries European analytic and subtle poetry of the East. One of the main sources of inspiration for the master was ancient Russian art, addressed to the fundamentals of life. Peter Dick has worked in many genres, all of which he appeared as an artist-philosopher, opening the connection between ordinary and eternal.
