From the memories and I began our conversation after the exhibition «Favorites», which opens the work Motoko - its wall paintings greets the visitor at the entrance to the tunnel. The exhibition will continue until September Lenbahhause.

- My paintings mainly - this is in fact banal landscapes. Of course, there are also many symbolic.

And, some landscapes that I see throughout their lives again and again, they pursued me, and then I paint them ... Many pictures are born out of ... I would describe this way: you are in the mountains and you feel that you now fly air even further. Of course, this comes from childhood, of which I spent high in the mountains.

- What's in Japan?

- I mean, you lived in the mountains?

- No, I have constantly lived in a city where I was born - in Kyoto. Kyoto - this is a big city ... but all four of my mother's brother - Buddhist monks. And they live in a mountain monastery. Pilgrims go there ... It is at this island, where a lot of gore. The monastery is located high in the mountains at an altitude of three thousand meters. This is a particular form of Buddhism - Buddhist mountain, I would say ...

- no, not so much all over, all that was there before all days. It is rather a sort of Tibetan Buddhism ... It is in childhood, every summer I lived with my mother of his four uncles in the monastery.

I changed a lot during this time, try many different techniques ... Munich was ideally suited for this city.
