Opens a directory labor of the Russian Admiral S. I. Mordvinov "Books the complete collection of navigation", published from 1748 to 1753 (lot 1). Edition extremely rare, only released 500 copies, and the author at the time recognized, "although his essay on Navigation and printed, but it was not a single instance".

Richly illustrated two-volume book of the famous researcher and Professor S. P. Krasheninnikov "the Description of Kamchatka land" (lot 2), presented in two tselnokozhany bound period.

6-томное works of A. N. Radishchev, released by Plato Beketov in 1807-1811 (lot 29), is one of the most rare Russian books of XIX century. Instance valuable engraved frontispiece with a portrait of Radishcheva and luxury tselnokozhany gold-tooled binding of the era. In the Moscow fire of 1812, a book store Beketov burned down, and today in the national archives and collectors have known only a few dozen sets of this precious book. All subsequent academic editions of the works of the first Russian philosopher-просветителя checked with this version, which, according to historians of literature, had a hand N. M. Karamzin, actively collaborated with P. Beketov 1800-х.

One of the first Ukrainian literary almanacs, Khata (1860) was originally conceived as a magazine, but censorship barriers has forced the publisher to publish available materials — works by Kulish, "Koszarski hotel" Shevchenko, the poems and prose of M. Vovchok, periwinkle, E. Combs and other — in the form of an almanac (lot 52).
