Rare editions for bibliography and bibliology in the "literary Fund" on April 23
Tomorrow, April 23, on world book day, the auction house "literary Fund" jointly with the Guild of antiquaries-книжников will hold an auction devoted to Her Majesty Book. In the auction catalog collection of the most interesting and significant works on bibliography and book Sciences known to bibliophiles and bibliographers of the nineteenth — XX centuries.
Among the bibliographical rarities: "List of Russian books for reading A. Smirdin" and four additions to the painting (1828-1856); not sold "Catalogue of the books of the library of the Moscow English Club" (1903); copy of the book by I. P. Karataev, "Description Slavo-русских books, printed Cyril's letters (1883); a "Detailed dictionary of Russian engraved portraits" by D. A. Rovinsky collection of the V. G. Ulyanisky with his autograph; "the bibliophile Dictionary, ie words, on books and printing" by E. arkadieva, published in an edition of 300 copies (1890); a full set of "Antiquary" H. V. Soloviev (1902-1903); copy of "Among the books and their friends" (1903), owned by the famous bibliophile and publisher L. Bukhgeim; "Rare books printed in Russia in Russian language" S. R. Monclova, the book, published edition of 100 copies (1904); the famous "catalogue of the exhibition in the Tauride Palace" from the collection of a collector and publisher of Eve. Lazarus (1905); book B. Modzalevsky "Library of A. S. Pushkin. Citation" with his autograph from the edition of 150 copies; as a special instance on thick paper "Catalogue of Russian illustrated books" H. Obolyaninov (1914); autograph of the famous bookseller P. P. Shibanov on a separate reprint of the article "Antiquarian book trade in Russia" (1925); instance "Puschkiniana" from the collection Y. Oxman with his lengthy comments (1937), and more.
Not paid attention to the organizers of the auction and bibliographies of modern bibliophiles. So, the auction will be presented the book "Mikhail Seslavinsky — bibliophile and knihoven. Bibliography" — copy number 33 of a limited edition of 50 copies.
