Recycle Group AES+F at the Venice Biennale

Museum of modern art today announced the participants of the 56th Venice Biennale. Recycle Group AES+F will represent Russia in the parallel program of the exhibition, which will be held from 6 may-9 noyabrya@

AES+F is one of the most successful Russian art group, established in late 80-ies. Projects Tatiana Arzamasova and Lev Evzovich, Evgeny Svyatsky and Vladimir Fridkes was shown at the most important festivals and Biennale of contemporary art worldwide. In Venice AES+F will present the exhibition "001 Inverso Mundus" (translated from the Latin — "world turned upside down").

"There is such a well-known European tradition — production of print, where all the values are inverted, where the teacher punished the pupil where the pig cuts butcher, donkey rides man... In Venice will be shown like this upside-down world of the modern subject,"  ' the artist Leo Isovic@

as accompaniment artists chose the Concerto for the left hand by Maurice Ravel, Tchaikovsky, Liszt, Leon Bellman and other composers. In the project took part 57 of the actors who came to Moscow, where the shooting took place, from all over the world (familiar to AES+F practice). The commonplace and the absurd, scenes from the middle Ages in modern interiors, where one cannot do without IKEA, will be broadcast in the space of a Venetian salt warehouses and the Museum VITRARIA Glass +A. by the Way, the work of AES+F in Venice will not see the first time. In 2007, the Russian pavilion was represented by their "Last riot", and in 2009-m on review showed the second work of a series called "the Feast of Trimalchio".
