C 25 to 27 May at the State Tretyakov Gallery (Lavroushinsky lane 12, Lecture Hall) scientific conference "History of the collection, storage and restoration of monuments of ancient art».

on May 28 in the conference held a roundtable on "Current issues of storage of works of religious art and museums in cooperation with the Russian Orthodox Church».

The conference is expected to consider ways in which went on the discovery and study of artistic heritage of ancient Russia at the earliest stages, as shaped museum collections of ancient Russian art evolved research and restoration techniques.
