Royal Bank of Scotland is going to sell his collection
Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) plans to sell its art collection, valued at 10-15 million pounds. The fact that RBS, like other banks under state control, he is forced to dispose of its non-core assets.
In RBS collection includes works of authors such as LS Lowry (LSLowry), Ann Redpat (Anne Redpath), Jack Vettriano (Jack Vettriano), Patrick Caulfield (Patrick Caulfield) and Peter Houson (Peter Howson). Most of the collection went to RBS after the merger with NatWest Bank in 2000.
The following year, RBS is also planning to provide some works from its collection for display in the British galleries.
