Spanish museum has refused to exhibit contemporary art
Baroness Carmen Thyssen-Bornemisa, owner of one of the finest private collections of paintings in Europe, has banned his stepdaughter Francesca von Habsburg exhibit in the Museum of Madrid Thyssen-Bornemisa works of modern art. Baroness, the widow of a famous collector Hans Thyssen-Bornemisa has the decisive voice on the board of directors of the museum. The conflict says the London newspaper The Independent.
Francesca von Habsburg, daughter of the late Baron of the third marriage, manages its own artistic foundation TB A21. Her collection includes about 300 works of artists of modern times.
