Young artists, or working in any skvotah where they have little chance to acquaint the audience with their skill, or move to cities with a more developed art scene, such as in Berlin.

In recent years, interest in contemporary art has grown very strongly, and the authorities in Paris will not want to accept that their city, whose artists were once located at the epicenter of the world's artistic process, and bathed in the rays of glory, is now in actually on the periphery. It was therefore decided to have the house number 104 on the street Oberville center for contemporary art, where artists were workshops and exhibition space.

Nineteenth district - the poorest district of Paris, he is known for its new, poverty and street gangs, and live in it mostly immigrants. One of the directors of the future center «104» Fisbah Frédéric (Frédéric Fisbach) says that the Lebanese photographers who worked with him, stated that the area resembles the French capital Beirut.
