he Lived in Biisk and Barnaul, from 1922 — in Moscow. In 1918-1922 — member of the Altai art of the partnership. One of the initiators of the Barnaul art Museum and art school. In 1924-1925, he was the head of museums in the people's Commissariat for education.

Painted genre and historical paintings on the theme of Civil war in Siberia and the great Patriotic war. Repeatedly went to her trips to places of industrial construction, Siberia, the Urals, North. Author of painting works: "the Punisher" (1923), "Siberian partisans ready for action" (1924), "the Partisans of Siberia the wooden gun" (1924), "Unloading of coal. Murmansk port" (1926), "Konchakovna" (1928), "the Strike at the steel mills in 1885 году" (1930), "Celastraceae" (1932), the series "Nizhnaya Salda metallurgical plant" (1933), "the Guerrilla patrol in the mountains of Altai" (1934), "Check networks" (1937), "On the front brought Newspapers and letters" (1938) and others. Executed a number of portraits and landscapes ("the Dead cedar near Karakol. Gorny Altai", 1918; "fisherman's pier. Stake", 1926; series "Altai", 1920-е).
