he Studied at the Higher art Institute of painting, sculpture and architecture (1898-1906) in the Studio И. Е. Репина. In 1906, for the painting "From life" received the title of artist.

Lived in St. Petersburg (Petrograd). Executed genre scenes, landscapes, portraits. Author of painting works: "the Peasants in the Museum of Alexander III" (1898), "Autumn" (1906), "In the garden" (1908), "the little Girl with cornflowers" (1910), Gypsy (1912), "Evening" (1913), "Portrait Г. Л. Вишневской" (1914), "In the Hayfield" (1917), "bather" (1919) and others.

Performed the illustrations for the story "the Night before Christmas" for publication "Jubilee collection of drawings by famous Russian artists works Н. В. Гоголя" (St. Petersburg, Edition St-Петербургского literacy Association, 1909).

From 1906 — participated in exhibitions. Exhibited at Autumn (1906, 1909, 1912) and Spring (1908, 1912) exhibitions of paintings in the halls of the Imperial Academy of arts; exhibitions St-Петербургского (Petrograd) society of artists (1913, 1917, 1918); 1-й state free exhibition of works of art (1919) in St. Petersburg (Petrograd); Petersburg spring exhibition in the gallery Lemercier in Moscow (1913).

Work is represented in several Museum collections, among them — State Museum-заповедник "Pavlovsk", the Krasnodar regional art Museum. Ф. А. Коваленко Irkutsk regional art Museum im. В. П. Сукачева, Tver regional art gallery, Ekaterinburg Museum of fine arts.
