January 28, 2016 in Europe the first foreign branch of the State Russian Museum in Malaga Spanish opens the exhibition "seasons" and "the Jack of diamonds".

the Exhibition "the seasons" (January 28, 2016 — on January 29, 2017) show the development of the domestic landscape to residents and guests of Malaga will appear in the spring, summer, autumn and winter in the paintings of the famous Russian and Soviet artists of the XVIII — twenty-first centuries. In their work in the original form reflects the main stages in the development of European art: classicism and romanticism, realism and impressionism, symbolism and abstractionism.

among the 89 works in the exhibition, will be exhibited such recognised masterpieces, as "Overgrown pond" (1880) Vasily Polenov, "Winter" (1890) Ivan Shishkin, "rainbow" (1900-1905) Arkhip Kuindzhi, "Shrovetide" (1916) Boris Kustodiev, "Expanse" (1944) Alexander Deineka, "Noon" (1961) Arkady Plastov and pattern Alexey Savrasov, Isaac Levitan, Gregory Myasoedov, Ilya Repin, Konstantin Korovin, of Kasimir Malevich, Igor Grabar's, etc.

the exhibition "Jack of diamonds" (28 January — on 10 July 2016) will be presented 55 works of art. Among them the most famous paintings of the founders and leaders of this unique creative Union 1910-х: Ilya Mashkov, Pyotr Konchalovsky, Aristarkh Lentulov, Robert Falk, as well as works of participants of the exhibition "Jack of diamonds" (1910) showing the first stage of formation of the Russian avant-garde: Natalia Goncharova and Mikhail Larionov, Olga Rozanova and of Kasimir Malevich. The exhibition will complement the works of folk decorative-прикладного art of the XIX — XX centuries, which served as a source of inspiration for creative exploration of the Association "Jack of diamonds".

In 2015, the branch of the Russian Museum in Malaga has held three exhibitions. Exposition of the first permanent exhibition, entitled "Russian art XV — XX centuries" opened in March, was about 100 masterpieces of all periods of Russian painting, which gives an idea about the history of Russian art.

the first temporary exhibition entitled "Russian art of the era of Diaghilev", 69 works were presented — outstanding works of the artistic environment in which developed and which is largely enriched Sergei Diaghilev. The second temporary exhibition was dedicated to Pavel Filonov. Viewers can get to know 66 the works reflecting all the stages of the creative evolution of one of the most original and enigmatic artists of the twentieth century.
