son of a painter, a professor of painting Yu Yu Klever (older) brother artists Yu Yu Klever (Jr.), and M. Yu Clover . Graduated Tsarskoselsky real school of Emperor Nicholas II. Original art education was under the leadership of his father. In 1890 worked in the studio LE Dmitrieva-Caucasian in St. Petersburg.

lived in St. Petersburg (Petrograd - Leningrad). Passed through the symbolism of passion, was close to the masters association "World of Art", "Blue Rose".

Since 1906 - participant of exhibitions. Exhibited his works at the autumn exhibitions in the halls of Society for the Encouragement of Arts, the Association of Artists exhibition in St. Petersburg.

book illustrations, stage design. I created costumes and scenery for mobile theater PP Gayduberova in St. Petersburg.

After the October Revolution has focused almost exclusively on the work in the theater and book graphics. Participated in the jubilee exhibition theatrical decorative art in Leningrad (1927).
