Studied the modeling of a sculptor Н. Н. Горского the school masters of art castings in Kasli ironworks (1935); at the Sverdlovsk art College (1937-1939); Institute of painting, sculpture and architecture named after. И. Е. Репина in Leningrad (1945-1951), on the picturesque faculty of the А. А. Мыльникова, В. М. Орешникова. In 1951 the diploma work: "И. М. Сталин and Я. М. Свердлов in Turukhansk link". In 1939-1945 he was in military service; a member of the Soviet-финской and great Patriotic wars.

he Lived in Nizhny Tagil, Sverdlovsk (1956). Performed thematic paintings, landscapes, portraits. Author of painting works: "Я. М. Свердлов in Narym exile" (1951), "А. С. Серафимович I П. П. Бажова" (1953), "Delivered at home" (1954), "People, be vigilant (Julius Fuchik)" (1956-1957), "the Forty-first year" (1958), "bird Cherry tree" (1958), "Portrait of a blacksmith И. Никифорова" (1958), "North Ural" (1958), "Olkhon fishermen" (1959), "Я. М. Свердлов talking to the inhabitants of Turukhansk territory", "Я. М. Свердлов in Nevyansk" (1959), "the Crossing" (1964), "Kolchak" (1967); series of landscapes of the Crimea (1961), portrait studies "the workers of the Baikal".

Since 1952 — participated in exhibitions. Exhibited: works of artists of the RSFSR (1952, 1953, 1954, 1955, 1957), all-Union art exhibitions (1958 — "40 лет of the Komsomol", 1961), the Republican art exhibition "Soviet Russia" (1960) in Moscow; Sverdlovsk art exhibitions (1952, 1953, 1955), of works by Sverdlovsk artists (1957), Sverdlovsk painters, dedicated to the 40-летию the Soviet army and the military-морского Navy (1958), Regional art exhibitions (1959, 1960), regional and city art exhibition (1967) in Sverdlovsk; "Ural Socialist" in Sverdlovsk (1964) and Perm (1967).

he Taught at the Nizhny Tagil art-промышленном school (early 1950-х).

he was Buried at the city cemetery in Kasli.

Work is represented in several Museum collections, among them — of the State Tretyakov gallery, Ekaterinburg Museum of fine arts, Museum of history of Ekaterinburg and others.
