he Studied at the Kiev art Institute (1939-1949) Г. П. Светлицкого and И. Н. Штильмана; in 1949 he wrote a thesis "Collective farm fields".

he Lived in Kiev. Worked primarily as a landscape painter. Author paintings: "Dneprodzerzhinsk" (1949), "On-current" (1950), "where was Zaporizhzhya Sich" (1952), "Plant them. Ф. Э. Дзержинского" (1952, together with Б. М. Раппопортом), "moonlit night" (1953), "Evening in port" (1955), "Sunny day" (1955), "Dnepr" (1957), "the Sea (1958), "There lived Т. Г. Шевченко" (1963) and others.

From 1949 — participated in exhibitions. Exhibited: 10-й Ukrainian art exhibition (1949), fine arts of the USSR (1951, 1952), the fine art of the Ukrainian SSR, devoted to the 300-летию of the reunification of Ukraine with Russia (1954), works of artists-маринистов (1953, 1955) in Kiev, the artists-маринистов (1954, 1961) in Moscow and others.

he Taught at the Kiev art Institute (1949-1952).

Posthumous exhibition of works took place in 1972 в Kiev.

Work is represented in many Museum collections, including the National Museum. А. Шептицкого in Lviv, Dnipropetrovsk art Museum, the Museum Т. Г. Шевченко in Kiev.
