Initial artistic skills received in the Warsaw gymnasium (1834) and private school (1835); took private lessons of painting and drawing. From 1840 участвовал in exhibitions in Warsaw. By order of the Imperial Academy of arts performed a copy from the painting by J. Romano, "the Coronation of the virgin" from the Pinakothek Vatican. In 1852 he lived in Warsaw, then returned to Rome, where he remained until the end of life. In the mid 1850-х performed three songs for the altar of the Church in Chernigov.
