he Studied at the Drawing school of the Society for the encouragement of arts in Petrograd (1915-1917) И. Я. Билибина, Н. А. Химоны in the Studio Ф. И. Рерберга in Moscow (until 1925).

Lived in Armavir (1925-1928), Leningrad (1928), the years of the great Patriotic war was evacuated to Perm (1942-1945). In 1930 he worked with К. С. Малевичем. Executed landscapes, portraits, still life, thematic composition. Author of painting works: "In the field" (1934), "self-Portrait" (1934), "Portrait of the artist Е. Я. Яковлевой" (1935), "Flowers" (1937), "Portrait of the artist Р. В. Хасиевой" (1941, 1970-1971), "Svaneti" (1944), "still life with pomegranates" (1954, tempera), "Vegetables" (1958, tempera), "Evelyn" (1958), "Teacher" (1967), "the Kuban collective farm girl" (1968), "Bouquet of flowers" (1969), "Woman-архитектор in construction" (1970); series of landscapes Baku (1938), Kabardino-Балкарии (1934-1940), Crimea (1930-1940), Krasnodar Krai (1930-50-е), Leningrad (1950-60-е), Palanga (1960, tempera); cycle "Factory of Permodezhda" (1942).

In 1930-1937 executed designs for fabrics, 1942-1944 — propaganda posters. Since the second half of 1950-х worked a lot in the technique of color lithography. The author of the songs: "Bouquet" (1958), "Pskov. The Church of St. Nicholas with Usagi" (1959), "Russkaya Starina" (1960), "Girl with watermelon" (1961), "Flowers in a crystal vase" (1962), "Mountain landscape" (1962), "the Seamstress" (1962), "Loading watermelons" (1968).

Performed a series of illustrations for "selected stories" Д. Н. Мамина-Сибиряка Russian folk tale "Kolobok".

From 1932 — participant of exhibitions. A member of the Union of artists of the USSR. Exhibited: "Woman in socialist construction" (1934), works by Leningrad artists (1935, 1936, 1940, 1941, 1945, 1952, 1953, 1955, 1956, 1957, 1958, 1960, 1961, 1963, 1964), women-художников Leningrad (1938, 1941, 1960) in Leningrad; "the Urals in the visual arts" (1943), artistic works (1945) in Perm; "Ural — forge weapons" in Sverdlovsk (1944); works of painters of the Union republics, Autonomous republics and oblasts of the RSFSR in Moscow (1944). The works were shown at exhibitions of Soviet art abroad — in Stockholm (1961), Berlin (1964).
