Biographical information on the wizard are scarce. In 1858-1863 he studied at MUZhViZ in NA Ramazanova. Since 1864 he lived and worked in Tiflis. One of the founding of the Caucasian society to promote the fine arts. He was among the organizers of the Tiflis art school, taught in it. In 1872 he was awarded a gold medal at the exhibition "On the 200-th anniversary of Peter I» in the Polytechnical Museum in Moscow.
