From a family of factory workers cotton factory in Naro-Фоминске. He received his General education in the original school. From 1921 he lived in Moscow. He studied at the Moscow Handicraft-художественном College (1923-1926, not graduated) А. М. Васнецова. Worked in the publishing house of the Central Union of consumer societies. Member RAPH (Russian Association of proletarian artists). In 1931-1934 находился in military service.

he Continued his studies at the Moscow Institute of fine arts — Moscow state art Institute (1934-1940). In 1941 призван in the army, participant of the great Patriotic war, was seriously wounded in 1943 — demobilized.

he Painted portraits, landscapes, still lifes and thematic paintings. Author of painting works: "Time revolution" (1965), "restore the factory" (1968-1972), "On the barricades of denial. October 1917" (1969-1972), "defense of Moscow" and others. Member of the graphic section of mossh (1944).

From 1931 — participant of exhibitions (anti-imperialist exhibition dedicated to international Red day in Moscow). Exhibited: works by artists dispatched to regions of industrial building and collective farms (1932), the all-Union exhibition of young artists dedicated to the 20-летию the Komsomol (1939), the graphs on topics of history of the CPSU (b) (1940), diploma works of art Universities (1941; in the hall of changing exhibitions of all-Union exhibition "industry of socialism"), exhibition of painting (1957) in Moscow, Soviet artists-графиков on topics from the history of the CPSU (b) in Solikamsk (1942) and others.
