From a Jewish family. He studied at the Drawing school of the Society for the encouragement of arts (1912-1914, 1917-1918), Petrograd state free art-учебных studios (1918-1919) Н. И. Альтмана in the State free art studios in Odessa (1919-1921), Vhuteine in Petrograd (1921-1925) on the sculpture faculty at А. Т. Матвеева.

Lived in St. Petersburg (Petrograd, Leningrad). Worked in the field of easel sculpture. In 1921 — Manager-мастер toy workshop in Odessa.

From 1912 — participated in exhibitions. A member and Exhibitor of the society "Circle of artists" (1928, 1929). Member of the Association "October". Participated in the XVII international exhibition of art in Venice (1930), 1-й exhibition of Leningrad artists in Leningrad (1935).

he Taught at the Leningrad Institute of engineers of communal construction (LEICS, 1930-е).

14 марта 1938 arrested by the NKVD, 23 июня the same year on charges of espionage and counterrevolutionary activity and sentenced to capital punishment in July — shot.
