he Studied at the Drawing school of the Society for the encouragement of arts in Petrograd (1916-1917) И. И. Андреолетти, VKhUTEMAS in Moscow (1921-1922) and the VKhUTEMAS — Vhuteine in Petrograd (Leningrad; 1922-1926) А. И. Матвеева. In 1925 выполнил thesis — song "Saved boy".

he Lived in Leningrad and Kiev. Was married to the painter М. В. Трубецкой. Worked in the field of easel and monumental sculpture. Participated in the implementation of the plan of monumental propaganda (monument К. Марксу in Odessa, 1920, has not survived). Performed competitive project of a monument Т. Г. Шевченко for Kharkiv (1933), a series of sculptures of athletes for the stairs at the entrance to the restaurant "Dynamo" (1930-е, not preserved).

Created a number of works devoted to the great Patriotic war: "Unconquered" (1941-1943), "Fighting friend" (1943, option — 1947), "Defender of Odessa" (1943, option — 1948), "They fought for their country" (1945), "Fascists will not pass here" (1948).

From 1918 — participant of exhibitions (exhibition of paintings of the Association of independent artists in Odessa). Member of Association of revolutionary art of Ukraine (ARMU) and the Leningrad Association "Circle of artists", Union of modern artists of Ukraine (OSMA, 1927-1932). Participated in exhibitions: 1-й national exhibition of paintings, posters, signs and children's art in Odessa (1919); the final works of students of the Leningrad Academy of arts (1925) in Leningrad; "To help flood victims in Western Ukraine" (1927), prints and picture (1928), Republican exhibitions of artists of the USSR (1938, 1941 — "Shevchenko exhibition", 1948, 1951, 1957, 1961) in Kiev; 1-й (1927, dedicated to the 10-летию October), 2-й (1929) and 3-й (1930) national exhibitions Narcompros USSR (traveling around the cities of Ukraine); all-Union art exhibition (1947), exhibition 1-му all-Union Congress of Soviet artists (1957) in Moscow. Member of the USSR Union of artists (from 1938).

he Taught at the Art-производственных workshops in Odessa (1918-1921), 2-й Experimental children's Studio in Moscow (1921-1922), Kiev artistic Institute (1926-1964), the Dean of the sculpture Department (1937-1950), Professor (since 1939). The author of several works on the art of sculpture: "About composition in sculpture" (Kiev, 1959), "Sculpture" (Kiev, 1960; both — in collaboration with Л. Н. Сак). Recorded sayings of his teacher, the eminent sculptor А. Т. Матвеева in the classroom with students (published: Murin Е. Б. Александр Terent'evich Matveev. M., 1964).

Work is represented in several Museum collections, among them — national art Museum of Ukraine in Kiev, Kharkov art Museum, Odessa historical-краеведческий Museum, the State Tretyakov gallery.
