Architect, painter

From a family of hereditary architects of Italian origin; grandson of Joseph (Giuseppe) Bernardazzi, the son of Alexander Iosifovich (Osipovich) Bernardazzi, engaged in the construction of Chisinau and Odessa; brother Evgeny Nikolayevich Bernardazzi. He studied at the Higher art school of painting, sculpture and architecture under the Imperial Academy of arts (1896-1903); in 1903 for the project of the concert hall on 2 500 человек received the title of artist-архитектора.

Lived in St. Petersburg (Petrograd). Was engaged in rebuilding apartment houses Ф. Ф. and Н. Ф. Комиссаржевских (1906); made the project of a mansion В. Ф. Ковальского in Harbin (1909).
