Biographical information about the wizard is extremely scarce.

born in the family A. Vinberg, Swedish jeweler who worked in St. Petersburg in 1791-1816. Art education, apparently, was under the leadership of his father. Since 1824 has repeatedly exhibited its miniature exhibitions in the halls of IAH. In 1830, recognized as "designated" in academics, in 1846 awarded the title of academician of the portrait of Alexander I. He was engaged mainly in the technique of miniature watercolors. Son of artist Ivan Winberg was also a miniaturist.
