Since 1969 Dmitry Plavinsky had lived and worked in the countryside. "... Before me is a tragic picture of extinction and unbearable life of Russian peasants. Inspired by trips to Greece, Italy and Israel, they were created cycles of works for solo exhibitions Echo of ancient ruins, "In Search of Italy" and started work on the exhibition "Holy Land", which was interrupted due departure to Moscow.
