the Exhibition is organized by the Moscow Fund Zinaida Serebryakova, the Russian Embassy and the diocese of Korsun. The artist Alexander Borisovich Serebryakov (1907-1995) — son of Zinaida Serebryakova.

Serebryakov came to Paris in 1925, became a painter, decorator and interior designer. He worked on the decoration of museums, public places and private residences, was a painter of theater and cinema, was engaged in book graphics. Among the strengths of his creativity experts say the architectural landscape. And that theme is dedicated to the exhibition — types of historical sites and streets of Paris, created in 1930-40-х years, including during the German occupation.

the curator of the project were made by Paul Peacocks —, an art historian and expert Fund serebrjakovoj.

the Works of Alexander Serebryakov often sold on the international auction market. Best works find buyers in the range of $30 000-55 000. The current auction record for his work was set in 2012 at Christie's. Six panels with three-dimensional optical illusion was sold for $60 175.
