May 20, in the front rooms of the Scientific Research Museum of the Russian Academy of Arts opens an exhibition devoted to the history of Italian and international art from the 60's to the present day

May 20, 2008 in the front rooms of the Research of Russian Academy of Arts Museum Italian Cultural Institute in St. Petersburg, opened the exhibition «The double vision of art. 2RC - artist and master of the press », organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Italy, in cooperation with the Russian Academy of Arts.

The exhibition displays the history of Italian and international art from the 60's to the present day and is an indication of long-term production schedules in one of the largest printers of Italian and world art. In 1959 Valter and Eleonora Rossi, two young graduates of the Academy of Brera, together with his cousin found a «2RC» - printing art. They proceeded from the conviction that the schedule is this kind of art, such as painting and sculpture, and not just their content. The aim of their work - a laboratory that would develop the various techniques of graphics to allow the artist to experiment freely and to work with graphics, as well as with other artistic means.

P «2RC» collaborated-known Italian and foreign artists who have created a wonderful union of art and crafts, following a tradition which, beginning with the Renaissance, is the basis of magnificent masterpieces.

Various possibilities offered graphic arts studio typography «2RC», tried many Italian artists worldwide, working in different directions: the Asian Bazaldella, Alberto Burri, Giuseppe Kapogrossi, Francesco Clemente, Konsagra Piero, Enzo Kukk, Piero Doratsio, Luchio Fontana, Yuri Kuper, Renato Guttuzo, Yannis Kunellis, Giacomo Manz, Arnaldo Pomodoro, Joe and Julie Pomodoro Turkato. These primknuli many less than reputable international artists: Francis Bacon and Henry Moore, Ray Mann and Julian Shnabel.
