Among the graphic works holds a special place ink drawing of Alexander Alexandrovich Deineka "In the Donbass" (lot 224, estimate €20 000-30 000). Early in 1924, the work is a significant period in the artist when he was close to expressionism. The drawing was created during a trip to industrial enterprises of Donbass and published in No. 3 of the newspaper "Bezbozhnik u Stanka" (1924). Original illustration Dejneka later gave to his friend, the artist Theodore Bogorodskom, in whose family it remained until 1983.
