Among the antique books include two interesting publications on the history of Moscow. In "Moscow and life in it on the eve of the invasion 1812" the artist and the art critic Nikolay Matveev revolutionized domestic life and the architectural appearance of the white stone shortly before the Great fire of 1812, one of the most tragic pages in the history of the city. Published under the editorship of V. I. Shemyakin collection "Moscow, its shrines and monuments" contains essays on the Kremlin, monasteries, cathedrals, and other Moscow attractions, many of which have not survived to the present day.

the"Golden age" of Russian literature presents the second part of the famous almanac "Housewarming" (2-е edition, 1845-1846), in which are placed, in particular, "Tale about how quarreled Ivan Ivanovich with Ivan Nikiforovich" by Nikolai Gogol.
