James Butterwick bought a Modigliani for a Russian collector living in London

This is one of the interesting details, which was reported by the Telegraph newspaper

the auction of impressionist and modern Christie's June 27, 2017. Painting of Amedeo Modigliani "Caryatid" of 1913 was exhibited from the collection of Michael Spencer, CEO ICAP and former Treasurer of the Tory party. In 2009, "the Caryatid" had tried to sell at Sotheby's for £4.5 million, but to no avail. In 2017-м a picture of the behalf of a certain Russian customers living in London, bought art-дилер and an expert on Russian and European avant-garde James Butterwick. "The Caryatid" promise to include in future exhibition Modigliani at the Tate gallery, which, undoubtedly, could contribute to the sale of paintings for £6.9 million ($8.9 million).
