Innovation is the main public award in the field of contemporary art. In different years, its nominees were Yuri albert, Vadim Zakharov, Alexander Brodsky, Ilya Kabakov, Oscar Rabin, and others. One of the greatest moments in the history of the award was rewarding in 2010, when the winner in the main nomination in spite of dissatisfaction with the authorities, began art-группа "War".
