This was reported in the State Museum of Fine Arts named after AS Pushkin, which is stored in the collection of original works of great masters. According to the organizers of the project, which was named «Art Tour. Masterpieces on the streets of Moscow », its purpose - to awaken public interest in classical art.

An unusual exhibition will open on the day of cultural and historical heritage of Moscow - 18 May - and will continue until October 18. The project introduces the paintings of famous artists, copies of which will be placed on the facades of buildings in the center of the capital. For example, the reproduction of famous works by Picasso «Girl on a Ball» appears on Strastnom Boulevard, «Portrait of an elderly woman» Rembrandt - to Prechistenka, «Odysseus in the cave of Polyphemus» Jacob Jordaens - at Petrovka, «Red Fish» Matisse - on Tverskaya Boulevard, «Madonna and Child» Lucas Cranach senior - to Mokhovaya. Pictures can be seen on the Big Dmitrovka, Arbat, Okhotny several other streets and the central part of the city. All works for «outdoor exhibition» taken by them to the Pushkin Museum. This show is held in Moscow for the first time. The basis for it as a draft, which was held in London in 2007 and enjoyed great success with the residents of the city.
