In the late 1890-х studied painting and drawing in Munich and Budapest. In 1900-х visited new-Йорк, Paris. From 1903 жил in Mukachevo. In the early 1900-х completed image and the wall painting of the Church Nicholas monastery on the Black mountain near Mukachevo. Worked as a portraitist, genre painter, landscape painter. Author paintings: "portrait of a man" (1903), "don't be a monk!" (1911), "self-Portrait" (1914), "Morning" (1917), "mother's Portrait" (1929), "fair" (1937), "Reciting" (1949). He was engaged in teaching.

In 1950 в Uzhgorod hosted a memorial exhibition of the artist's works.

Work is represented in several Museum collections, among them — Donetsk art Museum, Zakarpattia oblast art Museum. Th. Bokshay Uzhgorod.
