From the family of a merchant. He studied at the faculty of natural Sciences at the University of Warsaw in parallel — in the School of fine arts in Warsaw (1922); was dropped from-за of lack of funds. In the same year went to Berlin. Met a fellow poet Б. Поплавским artists А. Минчиным, К. А. Терешковичем.

In 1924 he moved to Paris and settled in Montparnasse with К. А. Терешковичем. Was friends with И. М. Зданевичем, И. А. Пуни, П. Кременем, И. Рыбаком. Painted small still lifes, landscapes, city suburbs, scenes in the interior, at least — portraits. 1930 — artistic adviser of the Russian magazine "Number", a member and Exhibitor of the feature group. Created the costumes and scenery to review "New millionaires" for theater Pariser Azasel (1934).

In 1939 he volunteered in the French army, at the beginning of the Second World war — demobilized. A few years hiding in the region of Avignon. During the Nazi occupation of France took the nickname Blonde. After the war settled in Grenoble.

Exhibited in the salons: Autumn (1925), and Independent (1926), the Tuileries (1930). Participated in exhibitions of Russian artists in the café "La Rotonde" (1925), the galleries "M. Henry" (1927), "A. Manteau" (1928, together with А. Минчиным and В. С. Бартом; 1931), "Zak" (1928, 1930), "W. Hirshman" (1929), "d Alignan" (1931), "L Epoque" (1931, 1932). Participated in exhibitions: "In honor of the Victory", organized by the Union of Soviet patriots (1946); "Russian artists of Paris school" (1961), "little-Known great artists" (1961), "Artists of Montparnasse" in Paris; "Russian view" in Heidelberg (1974).

his personal exhibitions were Held in Paris galleries "L Epoque" (1932), "M. Coard" (1954, 1957), "Durand Ruel" (1961), "K. Granoff" (1963), "Bassano" (1965), "Agora" (1969), "Kriegel" (1970); galleries "Adams" in London (1952), "Solstice" in Marseille (1966), "Journet" in Cannes (1969).
