Painter.

From 1908 to 1912 received an artistic education at the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture AE Arkhipov and A. Vasnetsov. Since 1913 has participated in many exhibitions, was a member of the artistic association "Assembly". In 1939 joined the Artists' Union.

He painted mostly landscapes, still lifes and genre paintings.

For his work was characterized by a certain vagueness, elongated shape and brightness of colors: "House of Anton Chekhov in Yalta" (1939), "May Blossom" (1939), "Timirjazevskaja Academy "(1944)," Pakhra. In 1950, Russia held a solo exhibition of the artist.
