he Lived in Moscow. In the late 1920 — 1930-х worked in Central Asia. A member of the group "Masters of New East" (1929-1930), worked in monumental team А. Н. Волкова (1931-1932). As part of the creative group (В. Н. Рудаков, М. С. Вогман, Н. С. Стеньшинская, И. С. Стеньшинский, Г. Л. Сретенский, С. А. Богданов) made several creative trips to Kazakhstan. Executed landscapes, portraits, thematic pictures. Author paintings: "Landscape" (1925) "Farmer listens to the radio" (1935), "the Shepherd, who plays the dutar" (1936-1937), "state-farm worker" (1936-1937), "Portrait of a wounded officer" (1942), "Moscow. Suburban travel" (1948), "Village Sobolevo" (1953), "self-Portrait" (1957), "Cloudy day" (1960), "the clearing" (1962), "covert" (1963) and others. Worked with this technique.

Since 1916 — participated in exhibitions. He exposed his works at exhibitions: paintings by the collective farms of the middle Volga (1934, mobile); of Moscow painters (1937) in Moscow; socialist realism (1938), brigade of Moscow artists (1938) in Alma-Ате.

he Taught at the Samarkand art school (1918-1921, 1943-1944).

Work is represented in several Museum collections, among them — State Museum of arts of Kazakhstan named. А. Кастеева in Alma-Ате.
