he Studied at the VKhUTEMAS in Moscow (1920-1925) Д. Н. Кардовского, Б. Д. Королева, Д. А. Щербиновского. In 1925 выполнил thesis — "Reaper (Smiling woman)" (tinted plaster).

Lived in Moscow in 1927-1929 и during the great Patriotic war (evacuation) — in Sverdlovsk. Worked in the field of easel and monumental sculpture. The author of the portrait busts Н. В. Туркина (1927), А. М. Горького (1929), И. В. Мичурина (1938), Д. А. Рамзаева (1962); multi-figure compositions: "the Attempt on Lenin" (1928), "the Karachai dancer" (1937), "Wrestling" (1960); competitive project of a monument "to the Victims of the stratosphere" (1931, 2-я prize); concrete frieze on the building of the club "Pravda" in Moscow (1935).

From 1929 — participant of exhibitions (Society of Moscow artists in Moscow). Exhibited at the exhibitions of the society of Russian sculptors (1929, 1931), "Artists of the RSFSR for XV years" (1933), Moscow sculptors (1937), exhibition of sculpture MSH (1940), autumn exhibition of Moscow artists (1966) in Moscow; "Ural — forge weapons" in Sverdlovsk (1944). Member of mosskh (SSH — MOSH).
