Born into the family of F. David Burliuk, a native of the peasants, who served as steward of the estate in the South of Russia; sister of artists and poets Vladimir, David and Nikolai Burliuk. He studied at the Higher art school of painting, sculpture and architecture under the Imperial Academy of arts in St. Petersburg (1903-1907). In 1907 вышла married to sculptor В. В. Кузнецова.

he Painted landscapes, portraits, still lifes; passed through passion impressionism, creativity П. Сезанна, К. Писсарро. Participated in exhibitions: Kharkov Association of artists (1906, 1907), the society of South Russian artists in Odessa (1906, 1907), Union of Russian artists (1906) in St. Petersburg, "Blanc et noir" in Kharkov (1907) and exhibitions of group "Wreath — Stephanos": Stefanos in Moscow (1907-1908), "Crown" in St-Петербурге and Kherson (1907-1908), "the Link" in Kiev (1908). In late 1910-х he abandoned painting, devoting himself to the family.

Lived in Petrograd, the city of Arkadak of the Saratov province (1918), Saratov (1923). I was engaged in design works; fulfill the Saratov circus posters, slogans. In 1956 he moved to Prague to his sister Marianne. In recent decades, has resumed art classes. Held a personal exhibition in Prague (1967). The author of the memoirs.
