In the "Gallery of art Dayev, 33" opens the exhibition "Stanislav Yulianovich Zhukovsky (1875-1944). Paintings and drawings from private collections".

Exhibition of works Stanislav Yulianovich Zhukovsky will present 40 paintings and drawings 1890-1930-х the years from private collections of Moscow and St. Petersburg. This exhibition anniversary: 2015 marks the 140th anniversary of the birth of the artist.

Zhukovsky — painter-пейзажист, the student S. Korovin, K. A. Savitsky, . A. Kasatkin, A. E. Arkhipov and V. D. Polenov — is one of the most prominent representatives of the Russian landscape school of the early twentieth century. A significant influence on the artist during the training period and in the first years of independent work was provided by the work I. I. Levitan.

Paintings enjoyed great popularity among his contemporaries, was going to major collectors. Currently the works of Zhukovsky, there are more than 100 museums of Russia, Poland and other foreign countries.

In the exposition of the gallery presents paintings and sketches, created in 1890-х — 1930-х years. Among them there are works exhibited at exhibitions TPHV, the Union of Russian artists "World of art" and other creative unions. But many things the General public will see for the first time.

Among the most significant: "Evening rays" (1901), "Memories" (1902), "House" (1910), "the Murmur of the spring Creek" (1910), "Autumn. Terrace" (1910-е), "the Alps. Jungfrau-Мэнх" (1914), Forest river (1920-е).

Zhukovskiy-known as an unsurpassed master of the mansion interior. The exhibition has a number of interior works: "the Last ray. Living" (1902), "Kuskovo. Front lobby" (1917), "Evening. Interior" (1920), "Interior of the Royal łazienki Palace" (1920-е).

the exhibition published an illustrated catalog. For the first time reproduced some of the works of S. Y. Zhukovsky published a list of the paintings of the exhibition in Moscow in 1921, criticisms and notes of the artist's contemporaries. In the process of working on the catalogue in a number of cases were established authors titles of the pictures, updated the time and place of creation and exhibition history.
