due To overwhelming interest of Muscovites and guests of the capital, caused by the exhibition of Valentin Serov in the Tretyakov gallery on Krymsky Val, the Ministry of culture of the Russian Federation and the leadership of the Tretyakov gallery has decided to host the "Night Serova". The action will take place on 30 January, on the night of Saturday to Sunday. Cash in the Tretyakov gallery on the Crimean Shaft on this day will be open until the last visitor. The Ministry of culture considers it important that everyone had time to see the exhibition, which will end on Sunday.

Exhibition of Valentin Serov demonstrated a truly national love for one of the most significant Russian artists, the biggest and most prominent figure of his time. At the moment, two days before closing the exhibition was visited by more than 470,000 people. This is the all-time record for the Tretyakov gallery.

Seeing such great attention to the exhibition of Muscovites and guests of the capital, the management and staff of the Tretyakov gallery throughout the exhibition are doing everything possible to ensure passage to the Museum the greatest possible number of visitors: number of times has extended opening hours; in November 2015 for the first time postponed the end of the exhibition with 17-го 24-е January, 23-го January, the day before closing with the support of Ministry of culture of the Russian Federation and several other state and public organizations took the difficult decision to extend the exhibition again for a week, until 31 January 2016.
