"Russia on the way. By plane, train, automobile" at the Institute of Russian realist art

At the Institute of Russian realist art next week, January 28, opens the exhibition "Russia in the way. By plane, by train, by car" (Russia on the Road. 1920-1990), reflecting almost a century of history of transport in Russian art.

the Project was presented in October of this year in five halls of the Palazzo delle Esposizioni in Rome. "Russia on the way. By plane, train, automobile" not only has received positive reviews in European and Russian press, and was named the flagship project of the fall season at the Palazzo delle Esposizioni.

In the new exhibition features more than sixty paintings and drawings of XX century. In addition to works from the collection of IRRI it presents paintings from the collections of major museums in Russia — of the State Tretyakov gallery, State Russian Museum, Science-исследовательского Museum of the Russian Academy of arts, State Museum-выставочного center "ROSIZO", Union of artists of Russia, the Tver regional art gallery, State art Museum of Altai territory (Barnaul), the Kursk art gallery named after AA Deineka, Irkutsk regional art Museum named after V. P. Sukachev, the Memorial Museum of Astronautics, and the National gallery of Armenia, the Regina gallery and private collections. Viewers will see not only the masterpieces Alexander Deineka, Yury Pimenova, Alexander Samokhvalov, George of Nyssa, Alexander Labasa, but also be able to explore paintings and graphics artists-шестидесятников. This art remained too long behind the iron curtain, is now itself increasingly known for the best exhibition venues in Europe and Russia opens art in a new way.
