Exhibition "Romantic realism. Soviet painting 1925-1945," tries to demonstrate the mechanism of this unique in the history of the twentieth century system and to destroy the cliché about the lack of artistic merit in these polotan@

the exhibition includes works, which in Soviet times, axiomatic, canonical. The exhibition provides an opportunity to see almost all iconic works 1920-40-ies. In Moscow they for the first time in decades, gathered together under one roof, although such shows of Soviet art is not just a job for rubezhom@

In the basis of the spatial concept of the exhibition is a generalized image of the building with a Central axial symmetry that causes a chain of associations from ancient Egyptian temples to the unrealized project of the Palace of Soviets. Different rooms dedicated to the main topics of that time (the bundle) that emphasizes the coloristic decision of each zone@
