Exhibition of Russian and Soviet art in Abu-Даби

In the UAE capital opened the first large-scale exhibition of Russian art. In the exposition — more than 120 works, including the works of Nicholas Roerich, Nikolai Fechin, Vera Mukhina, Yevgeny Vuchetich, Abram Arkhipov, semen Chuikov, Tahir Salahov and others.

In the UAE capital Abu Dhabi, in the prestigious Emirates Palace hotel, under the patronage of the Minister of culture of UAE Sheikh Nahyan Mubarak al-Nahyan opened the first in the country large-scale exhibition of Russian and Soviet art of the twentieth century. Works are from the collection of the Art Fund Russe.

the Exhibition is titled "Collection of Russian and Soviet art of the XX century Art Russe: war and peace" and includes more than 120 works, created in different genres and reflecting the stages of development of the Russian art school of the past stoletiya@

presented In the exhibition paintings and sculptures — works by artists that symbolise the glory of the Russian art school. Viewers will see the sculpture Vera Mukhina Yevgeny Vuchetich, still lifes Alexander Gerasimov Alexei Gritsai, landscapes Nikolai Andronov, and semen Chuikov, works in the genre Nikolai Baskakov and Arkady Plastov, portraits Abram Arkhipov Alexander Bubnov, architectural landscapes Tahir Salahov and Vladimir Stozharova, as well as masterpieces Nikolai Fechin, Tkachev brothers, Nicholas Roerich and many drugih@
