In the Sixth Moscow Biennale of contemporary art at the Jewish Museum and tolerance centre, an exhibition of Anish Kapoor's "My little homeland"

the Jewish Museum and tolerance center with the support of the Lisson Gallery (London) in the Sixth Moscow Biennale of contemporary art show Russia's first comprehensive solo exhibition by Anish Kapoor entitled "My little homeland".

Anish Kapoor is one of the most influential artists that changed the idea of modern sculpture and the ways of its representation. He was born in Bombay, 1970 lives and works in London. In 1990, the sculptor represented Britain at the Venice Biennale, where he was awarded the 'Premio Duemila', and a year later won the Turner Prize. "I like to create sculptures that affect the viewer, immerse it in a special dimension, woven of space and time,  says Anish Kapoor.  time is always something going on, it flows over two levels. The first is the story and visual aesthetics that captivate the viewer while he looks for work, and the second is associated with the prolongation of time in the literal sense of the word. The second level is dominated by the shape and color, color properties, thanks to which the viewer is transported into a world of fantasies and dreams. My goal is to share the perception of the object and its physical form".

At the exhibition in Moscow will be shown four landmark for creativity Anish Kapoor's sculpture, made in his recognizable style, which is inextricably linked with the image of emptiness, mirrors and personal experiences of the observer. Color, steel and wax — three elements with which Anish Kapoor manipulates and creates landscapes that convey a new understanding of the sublime and unique. The exhibition will also include a conversation with the artist and will host a monographic presentation of the first edition in Russian yazyke@

Solo exhibition by Anish Kapoor was held in major museums and galleries worldwide, including the Sakip Sabanci Museum, Istanbul, Turkey (2013); Museum of Contemporary Art Australia, Sydney, Australia (2012); De Pont Museum of Contemporary Art, Tilburg, the Netherlands (2012); Leeum, Samsung Museum of Art, Seoul, South Korea (2012); Grand Palais, Paris, France (2011); Guggenheim Museum, Bilbao, Spain (2010); Haus der Kunst, Munich, Germany Tate Modern, London (2002-2003), and others. From June to November 2015 sculpture by Anish Kapoor presents in Versailles, France@
